Took me a little bit...

But I figured it out and, thankfully got all the medals. Thank God. :3 Only one I ended up needing help on was the trip because I figured it had something to do with the stairs.

Turns out it was the hanger.

Thanks for the great game. The video was okay up until the point I forgot and then it just became absolutely terrible. The lyrics are so bad. I can see why it was disliked so much.

thinking-man responds:

Yeah, lots of hate...

It's really good.

The artwork is excellent.

But it needs a little more originality, it's too much of a callback to Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. How about instead of a sword and shield the hero wields a scythe that has an umbrella/camerashutter-like blade hidden inside to act as a shield for defending?

Also, I attacked a few things with the hope that some things would break or whatever. Could use a few secrets, like secret items that help expand on the world that our hero is in.

Overall, great game, just needs more originality and/or more combinations of ideas (Resident Evil Outbreak 1&2 used the idea of secret items to elaborate on the characters and the world in which they were in.)

UknownXL responds:

Good ideas and feedback. I will definitely work on that for the next one.

This was ultimate awesomeness. :D

Please make more. ^,^ I like this one more than Seascape, but that was good too. :D I kind of like the twist as well. ^,^ I'd kind of like to know what the husband was planning, and come to think of it I feel a little sad that the spirits may not've been able to rest in peace and whatnot. :(

You did a really good job - I love it. :O

Psionic3D responds:

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Got number two spot for...

MY scores. :) Apparently I just didn't find the secret items, but everything else. XD Once I found I could use the shovel I restarted - it only took me up to the second piece to realize.

Psionic3D responds:

Well done (well not on the not using the shovel bit) ;-)

I thought of another element.

Here are the elements that are apparent:
Money: How much money you make in life.
Time: The amount of time you have for your life.
Winning place: (I assume there is one though I haven't reached it) supposedly the "end" to life; although there's always more you can do.
Enemies killed: Obstacles overcome, whether through force or something else.
Obstacles: Obstacles in life.

Now for what I see.
The people watching as you play: The people who care enough to watch you as you go through life.
The character: The life you play as - that your soul inhabits.
The people who watch your record: The people who want to see what you did and how you did in your life.

A lot of pressure, no? I tried multiple times, despite no one watching me. Well, seemingly. God doesn't count.

I don't think you did your view of free will right if you think we're being controlled. We are being controlled, but only by our souls. Our souls are what give us free will, and it's what gives this body in this game free will.

raitendo responds:

ok, usually I'm all for people making up their own interpretations but this is honestly kind of gay

Absolutely awesome game.

I love the pawprints too. I don't have enough time to get them all though. XP Lol. Or the will. <,<; I was one life away from being able to get the first pawprint. I actually intentionally kept doing some levels just to keep them alive. And I passed a lot of the levels where it SEEMS to be impossible to pass without losing a life, but passed it anyway. Like the level for instance where you hit the switch and the boulders start coming down on top of you - you're in between a dozen rocks and a huge spikey cave. All you have to do is jump out and land on the rocks as they glide underneath you. If I remember correctly, I lost no lives on that one. :)

I knew you were going to do something like that with the ending; although I actually figured you were going to have them ALL commit seppuku after finding out that Paradise Meadows had been deforested also. X) Lol. So you kind of surprised me. ;P Although I was extremely pleased with the way you did this. Whether intentionally or uninentionally, it sends a perfect message about deforestation and animals trying to find a new place to live - whether they adapt to their present surroundings or move somewhere else.

10/10 - 5/5. 20/10 - 10/5, if I could. I would appreciate if you made a sequel, as the person below me said, that actually had a semi-happy ending though. One where they started off at Paradise Meadows (with maybe 25 animals left, like it's possible to end with). Maybe you could even go in a different direction with this one and make it, instead of a platformer, more of an RPG. As though trying to adapt to that surrounding rather than finding a place to call home.

Either way, it's actually yours, so you get to call the shots, ultimately. :)

If you do make a sequel, please tell me. ;P I look forward to it. ^,^

The-EXP responds:

Response. :p

Purely teh awesomest of awesomeness

I found out other people felt this gave off a Final Destination vibe to it too. :)

I'm glad. ^,^;

Very awesome game - perfect. ^,^;

Only thing I can think of to improve would be distraction objects (more) and at different times too and multiple ways to kill them. <,<; Even if it's not as long. X) I know it'd take a long time to draw all this. :D

I look forward to a sequel - if you intend to do one. ^,^;

OzMafioso responds:

With so much feedback and great ideas (and the fact that I made this one short) I would have to be crazy not to follow up with a sequel. It's in the works now :) Glad you liked it and thanks for the review.

Good...

In an extremely weird sort of way. X.o; I sure as hell hope those weren't real subliminals or whatever. X3 Lol.

That's not entirely my mind? :l I hope it's not. <,<; Lol. Good job though. :D

mrpibbs1 responds:

Maybe it was all real subliminal messages...
Do you want to eat ice cream? If you do, then I guess they are real.
Thanks for the review

Lol. (Amused)

I think it's supposed to be a parody on 'how to' videos. :)

Notice how it gives the over-exaggerated, zoom in 400%. >,> Lol.

He also over-exaggerated the steps it took to make it. <,<; Lol.

SuperFlashMania responds:

thank you thats what it is supposed to be

Hello! Don't know if you'll see this but I'm... sorta back. Welcome to the new age eh?
